Day 3: A Favorite Book

Okay, I think all my friends know that my all time favorite book is the Bible. It's the book you try to live by and a book that helps you through your life. It teaches you about the birth, life, resurrection, and the second coming of Jesus! But my second choice would have to be "The Hidden Hand" by E.D.E.N. Southworth. It's one of my all time favorite Lamp lighter books so far! I have never read a book so interesting before that I did not want to put it down! Below I will copy and paste the description of the book. . .

"Reader, beware! Once you begin this novel, you will not be able to put it down! The Hidden Hand is strewn with mystery and suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. You will find yourself laughing aloud at some of Capitola's antics. But don't let her feisty, mischievous character and Old Hurricane's cantankerous personality derail you from seeing the gracious providence of an all-wise God. His hidden hand can be seen at work in the most difficult situations. The Hidden Hand is the book to reach for if you're looking for a good dose of drama and adventure!"

. . .I hope y'all get a chance to read this book if you haven't already.

Day 1: A Favorite Song

Alright! So this "30 Day Challenge" starts by having to choose a favorite song. . .This is going to be a little tough, especially because I love to listen to music while schooling or whenever I get the chance in my spare time.
I have a bunch of songs I love that I would call my favorite, but the point is to choose one. I picked "How Deep the Father's Love For Us". . .This song is so powerful in demonstrating God's love for us. I hope you like it. I tried to get the clearest version of it from youtube..never heard of this artist, but the song, my favorite!

Enjoy!!

Love In Christ. . .

What I've been up to. . .

Hi Friends! Sorry of the lack of posting. :/ Lately I've been so busy, trying to get into different schedules and so on that I forgot the time of day...It is too true that these days don't have enough hours that it should. So I thought I might just post some pictures of what I've been up to lately.  ( just so y'all know, Any pictures that I post will be taken from either my iPod or my little digital camera..I don't have am awesome Canon yet...but hope to buy one when I get the chance)

I love helping my sister out with baking cookies!

This is usually where I spend my time on the computer. In my bed, :D.
please excuse the way I look. I was just about to go to sleep last night!

I've spent many hours holding adorable baby Olivia!

Yes, my two pups may look a bit ugly when all wet and bathing, but they're much cuter when fluffed!

Having fun with my cousin!

So those are just a few things I've been up to lately...They're are many other things, but I haven't taken pictures of all of them. . . I'll leave for now but my next post will probably be the first day of the 30 day challenge...That should be fun! Until then. . .

Love in Christ,
Rachel :)

Finally!!

Hey to all my friends! I'm happy to say that I finally made my daily blog That I've wanted so badly! I have been wanting to make a blog for the longest time but never got the chance (being that I only had my dad's old desk top to work with.) So This past week, I purchased my very own macbook pro. So now I can easily manage a small daily blog! Nothing fancy at all, but something that my friends can follow on since I don't see them very often. :) . . .I'm soon going to start the Thirty Day Challenge that my sister, Katey finished recently on her blog. It looked really interesting and fun so look forward to seeing that! The main reason I made this blog is to share with my friends What I've been up to, encourage my sisters in Christ with the word of God, and keep in touch with all my dear friends! hope you all will be able to follow and learn a little more about me and my new blog! Keep an eye out for new posts!
